Since 1833, the Garnier-Thiebaut house has been designing and manufacturing the most beautiful cotton damask in the heart of the Vosges . Garnier-Thiebaut remains today the oldest establishment in the Vosges . This tradition, the house continues and renews itself thanks to the total control of all its stages of production: from creation to confection .

Thus, once the raw cotton has been imported, the dyeing, weaving, finishing and making are carried out in Gérardmer . These products, recognizable by the "Vosges Terre textile" label , offer real traceability in a sector, household linen, where competition is increasingly outsourcing production.

Focused on quality and service , Garnier-Thiebaut has two factories in the Vosges which integrate all manufacturing, from the treatment of threads to the distribution of finished products, allowing it to control the entire production chain .

Created by the law in favor of SMEs of August 2005, the label " Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant " is a mark of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, set up to distinguish French companies with artisanal know-how and industrialists of excellence "based on the mastery of traditional or high-tech techniques and limited to a territory".

Awarded for a period of five years, this label brings together manufacturers committed to the high performance of their profession and their products . The assessment and interpretation of the eligibility criteria are entrusted to an independent national commission made up of professionals.
